**Job Description:**

We are seeking a talented Air Force Recreation Manager to manage our Outdoor Recreation Program at the Air Force Materiel Command. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall economic and efficient operation of the program, as well as developing and executing program-level budgets.

About the Position:

This is a Regular Full-Time (RFT) position with benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, or evaluating outdoor recreational programs, as well as developing and executing program-level budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, supervise, or evaluate outdoor recreational programs.
  • Develop and execute program-level budgets.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing outdoor recreation activities from the standpoint of participants' response, resources, unforeseen developments, and program evaluations.
  • Formulate, justify, and execute both appropriated funds (APF) and non-appropriated funds (NAF) budget for all aspects of operations.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in general recreation or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with employees and external stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
