The Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience within a retail environment. Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Build a relationship with customers from greeting through post-sale contact, consistently demonstrating benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
- Team Selling: Continuously encourage and participate in team selling, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales volume and metrics goals.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, including fabrics, styles, and sizes, to provide expert recommendations to customers.
- Store Operations: Assist in receiving shipments, putting away new merchandise, maintaining a clean, neat, sized, and organized store based on merchandising to sell standards.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist with visually merchandising the store, including complying with brand standards with regard to all visual merchandising tasks.
- Security and Inventory: Help monitor the security of all Company property, reporting or documenting damaged or missing product, and assist in conducting merchandise stock counts as requested by store management.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for the majority of work shift, frequently bend, squat, and twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder to reach merchandise and/or supplies, and see and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
- Work Environment: May have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales goals.
