Job Title: Certified Behavior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Behavior Technician to join our team at Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc.

About the Role

As a Certified Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in homes or schools, providing behavioral support and responding to challenging behaviors when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Implement 1:1 direct ABA techniques in homes or schools
  • Collect accurate ongoing data on client's programs
  • Help build communication systems (AAC, PECS, ASL) with our non-verbal and emerging-verbal clients and teach communication skills
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to tailor ABA treatment plans, ensuring they are personalized to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Ensure clear communication with all team members and parents/clients
  • Provide behavioral support and respond to challenging behaviors when necessary
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
  • HS Diploma
  • Active CBT
  • Experience working with children (personal/professional)
  • WA State Driver's license
  • Insured, reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 25lbs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients
  • Ability to work M-F, MWF, or Tues/Thurs
