Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial activities, including tax collection, cash management, and budgeting
Prepare and manage the city's budget, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Coordinate with the county treasurer's office to ensure accurate and timely tax collection
Manage the city's cash flow, including investments and disbursements
Prepare and present financial reports to the city council and other stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a municipal setting
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Certification in WisVote and Munis a plus
