Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Abria Recovery is seeking an experienced Substance Abuse Specialist to join our team. As a member of our treatment team, you will work closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support services.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of addiction treatment principles and practices. You will work in a dynamic environment with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who share your passion for helping others.
Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individual treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans as needed
- Collaborate with treatment team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Meet the qualification requirements for an LADC or ADC-T
- 3+ years of experience providing individual and group counseling to individuals with substance use disorder
- Must be free of problematic substance use for at least two years immediately preceding employment
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria and best practices in addiction treatment
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
