The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As an LPN with Wexford Health Sources, Inc., you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the assessment and planning of patient care, working under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses.
- Implement individual treatment programs, utilizing available resources and consulting with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
- Administer medications and interventions as directed by providers, documenting patient response and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the nursing care and treatment team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License
- Current CPR Certification
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred
