Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Wild Adventures Theme Park. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and services to guests and employees in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide basic life support (BLS) treatment for a variety of injuries and medical emergencies
  • Operate park vehicles, including golf carts, vans, and trucks, as needed
  • Determine if further medical attention is needed and make contact with outside emergency services, if necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and create reports for all treatments given
  • Assist with gathering information and interacting with lost parents and children
  • Maintain safety protocols and enforce all safety rules throughout the park and back areas
  • Walk the park daily and report any safety concerns to the appropriate management staff
  • Clean the First Aid buildings as needed
  • Stock and inventory all supplies
  • Assist with logging and filing attractions and maintenance paperwork
  • Assist Park Security as needed
  • Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
  • Exceed guest expectations by providing exceptional customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment

The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and the presence of dust and odors. Team members are susceptible to exposure to various chemicals, bodily fluids, and blood-borne pathogens, prolonged exposure to sunlight or rainy conditions.

Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED Required
  • Six months or more experience in EMS
  • Valid State of GA EMT, EMT-I, A-EMT, or Paramedic License Required
  • Valid BLS Certification Required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be available to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must have reliable transportation
