Job Overview

Bare Dermatology is a dynamic and innovative dermatology practice seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain medical histories, chart patient information, and prepare patients for treatment
  • Administer medications, remove sutures, and collect laboratory specimens
  • Communicate with patients, answer questions, and provide treatment plan explanations
  • Manage pathology logs, inform patients of biopsy results, and authorize medication refills
  • Assist with procedures, e-prescribe medications, and manage paperwork
  • Inventory management, stocking, and supplying as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in dermatology
  • EMR experience and certification as a Medical Assistant or Dermatology Tech
