Machinist Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for manufacturing Beryllium products for use in high-performance sensing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining operations with precision, quality, and safety, working from blueprints, advanced drawings, process sheets, and sketches.
• Use analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a quick and effective manner.
• Collaborate with others to maintain a high level of craftsmanship and find safe, effective, and economical ways to improve productivity.

About the Role

This is a 2nd shift position, and you will be working as part of a team responsible for manufacturing Beryllium products for use in high-performance sensing systems. We encourage applicants with experience in the manufacture of tight tolerance, complex geometry precision products, particularly within an aerospace or medical component machine shop.
