Pro Mach, a leading provider of packaging solutions, is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling complex mechanical units, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Read and interpret engineering prints, specifications, and manufacturing manuals to determine necessary assembly of machines.
  • Plan assembly procedures and methods to ensure efficient and timely progress.
  • Assemble complex mechanical units, requiring a high degree of problem-solving, skilled workmanship, and accuracy.
  • Position, erect, align, and level sub-assemblies, units, and separate components, integrating their operations.
  • Test machines using prescribed testing methods to ensure they meet performance requirements before shipment to customers.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, inspect parts for proper machining finish and dimensions, and verify conformance to specifications/tolerances.
  • Follow all safety requirements for hand and power tool operation, assembly of parts, forklift and hoist operation, and housekeeping.

**Requirements:**

  • High School degree or equivalent, Technical degree or training preferred.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience as a machinery assembler.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to handle a multi-tasked role, and good organizational skills.
  • Math abilities, including knowledge of fractions and decimal equivalents, and basic understanding of the Metric system measurements and conversion.
  • Ability to use precision measuring procedures, read and interpret engineering drawings, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Good mental and visual abilities, along with good dexterity.
  • Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job.
  • Ability to lift in excess of 25lbs.
