Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and serve as a professional role model for children, promoting healthy and safe behaviors and creating a positive experience.
  • Participate in and lead activities with students, including arts and crafts, sports, STEM, character education, and social and emotional skills.
  • Build relationships with parents, school employees, administration, and other adults to foster a supportive environment for each child.
  • Collaborate with a team of staff focused on teaching teamwork and social skills, and supporting children as they grow and learn.
  • Ensure compliance with State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements to provide a high-quality care environment.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Completed high school or GED program
  • Ability to pass a background check
