The ideal candidate will manage the flow of vehicle transactions, receivables, sales commissions, and new inventory within the accounting department. A successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, collaborate effectively with team members, and contribute positively to the overall team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process billing for new and pre-owned vehicle transactions, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate, including tax and title paperwork.
  • Assist in the organization and packaging of vehicle deals.
  • Oversee inventory management and maintain accurate records.
  • Review and verify sales documentation such as contracts, customer credit applications, odometer disclosures, bills of sale, and powers of attorney for clarity and completeness.
  • Reconcile weekly schedules with detailed notes for the business manager.
  • Handle payoff checks for trade-ins and ensure timely mailing to the respective financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a dealership environment is essential.
  • Background in accounting or banking is required.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
  • Familiarity with Automotive ADP / CDK systems is advantageous.
  • A valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
