Overview

As a CT Technologist at Mercy, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity to supply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including CT scans, with minimal supervision.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and 3D imaging principles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school.
  • Registered with the ARRT in Radiography.
  • Prefer 1 year of experience in CT.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within a probation period.
