Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nursery Level II

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Nursery department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Nursery Level II will be responsible for providing direct patient care to infants and their families in the Nursery department. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to infants and their families, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric or neonatal setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
