Job Overview

We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to directly support our loan origination team. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking leads, scheduling appointments, preparing necessary documentation, and addressing customer inquiries regarding transactions.

Compensation:

$18 per hour plus commission

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all loan package documentation is accurate and complete according to company policies, reporting any discrepancies to the loan officer.
  • Manage calls, schedule appointments, and provide administrative assistance as required.
  • Prepare and coordinate documentation for verifications and underwriting, including loan files and credit reports.
  • Respond to client and employee inquiries to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the main contact between clients, the branch manager, and the assigned loan originator, facilitating meetings to address follow-up items.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a professional office setting, preferably in an administrative or mortgage assistant role.
  • Highly motivated with a strong focus on customer service and communication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively over the phone.
  • Confident communication style with the ability to convey value and address objections.
  • Strong listening abilities to understand client needs and concerns.
  • Results-driven with a commitment to achieving performance goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
