Job Summary

As a Courier/Driver with Federal Express Corporation, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. You will also be responsible for checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing related customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
  • Provide related customer service functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of courier experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
  • Good human relations and verbal communications skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
Working Conditions

This position is subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine, and opioids. You must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

You must obtain and maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a hazardous materials endorsement (HME) for the type of vehicle assigned and have a good driving record as outlined in policy.
