Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Ambe Healthcare Staffing. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing quality speech and language therapy services to patients with various developmental, cognitive, and physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and interpret evaluations and test results for patients ranging in age from birth through geriatric and document in electronic health records.
  • Determine speech therapy treatment plans by physician referral or in consultation with physicians and set realistic treatment goals.
  • Recommend and implement adjustments and modifications to therapy plans based on patient progress.
  • Document results of patient assessments, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services in patient records.
  • Select and construct therapies according to patient goals and needs.
  • Instruct patients, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures/therapies or home programs.
  • Provide specialty services, including swallowing evaluation, videofluoroscopy, and cognitive treatment.
  • Assist in the direction and development of the speech therapy service, including quality improvement, risk management, and safety.
  • Comply with federal, state, and professional certification requirements.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a school accredited by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
  • Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license from Arizona Department of Health or any state within the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
  • 2 years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Working Conditions:

This position requires a normal work schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The position is based in Arizona, and the candidate must be willing to work in a predominantly Native American population.
