Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Morning Prep/Line Cook to join our team at Down the Street Eats. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking all of our cuisine to the highest standards. If you have a passion for cooking and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen
  • Successfully prepare all work stations for cooking
  • Prepare and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Check the quality of ingredients
  • Prepare and cook ingredients using various techniques
  • Arrange food and ensure appealing presentation
  • Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders
Requirements
  • Prior cooking experience
  • Skilled in operating kitchen equipment
  • Skilled in various cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures
  • Self-motivated with a high energy level
