The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Per Diem Mammography Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of office environments, utilizing the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Specialize in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
  • Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice in which you work.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure.
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Process routine paperwork and all required data entry.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Up-to-date on all CME credits.
  • Patient-centric, compassionate, and computer-savvy.
