Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVICU is responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to critically ill patients. The RN will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient outcomes. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Assess, plan, and implement individualized plans of care for critically ill patients

* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care delivery and promote optimal patient outcomes

* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery

* Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make sound clinical decisions

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

* Current RN licensure in Texas

* BSN degree or higher

* 6 months or more of experience in a critical care setting

* ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
