The community health center is a 25+ year old FQHC, a non-profit organization that serves low-income, diverse, medically under-served patients in and surrounding communities. The center has a new $17 million facility that doubled its capacity to serve patients.
The position offers a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, relocation bonus, student loan repayment, comprehensive benefits, and a 403b plan with a generous match. The EMR system is NextGen, and the languages spoken include Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, French, Haitian Creole, Spanish, and English.
The practice type is outpatient, with a full-time schedule and a call schedule of 1:8. The group currently takes call a week at a time, and the call is phone call only for patients calling the answering service.
