  • Coordinate and oversee supplier visits to the plant, contributing to the preparation of proposals for capital expenditures and maintenance projects.
  • Negotiate purchases for lower-value expenditures at the plant level, exploring alternative local suppliers and options.
  • Build strong partnerships with Accounts Payable, Purchasing Operations, and Master Data Management teams.
  • Act as a liaison for the plant in addressing issues during projects, serving as the first point of escalation with suppliers.
  • Support the execution of procurement strategies by ensuring the effective use of preferred suppliers.
  • Align stakeholders and secure necessary internal support for successful project execution.
Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of key financial and quantitative metrics, with the ability to apply financial analysis to assess strategic options.
  • Strong project management capabilities to ensure compliance with project and program requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to resolve vendor and internal customer issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP systems.
  • Proficient analytical skills with a strong command of MS Excel.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing context.
  • 1-2 years of independent negotiation and purchasing experience.
