Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Urbana, Illinois. As a member of our Respiratory Team, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care during this challenging time.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work on a 13-week contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to ensure optimal respiratory care.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Teach and counsel patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
