Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier/Clerk to join our team at Bashas' in Lake Havasu City, AZ. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast and friendly customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and debit card payments.
  • Stock and rotate merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Assist with maintaining merchandise displays, including end-caps, floor displays, and aisle displays.
  • Bag or package customer purchases according to established company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and maneuver 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
