Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communication Systems Engineer II to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical and strategy teams to prioritize and develop new algorithms, technologies, and approaches to solve leading-edge problems in wireless communications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new algorithms and technologies for satellite systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and develop new approaches
- Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders
- Participate in authoring content and technical documentation
- BS, MS, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years of R&D experience in space communications
- Strong background in digital signal processing, statistics, linear algebra, communication theory, machine learning, and L1/L2 algorithms
- Proficiency in at least one scripting and one programming language (ideally Python & C++)
- Ability to carry out independent research and collaborate with a team
- Ability to hold a security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
