- AR Resolution: Create and implement effective workflows to resolve patient AR in a timely and efficient manner.
- Billing Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve billing processes and system capabilities to optimize revenue cycle performance.
- Denial Resolution: Resolve denials and ensure accurate and timely payment of medical claims.
- Insurance Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of various insurance types, including government payers, managed care payers, private payers, and third-party payers.
- Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients regarding their bills and medical billing.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and medical office professionals.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with medical office professionals, including schedulers, prior authorization representatives, and physician administrative teams.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in medical billing and AR coordination.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
