Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Computer Lab Assistant/Test Proctor. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff while maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to voice mails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contact students and faculty via email and phone to schedule appointments and test proctoring sessions.
  • Prepare and handle sensitive information and testing materials with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain check-in procedures and ensure a smooth testing experience for students.
  • Administer college and national testing, monitor lab equipment, and follow computer lab policies and procedures.
  • Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by Western Nevada College.
  • Maintain computer lab schedules, cleanliness, and supplies.
  • Enter time sheets and track hours, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
  • High school graduation; some college or Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience with computer hardware and software is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to explain instructions and guidelines to others.
