Job Description:About the Role:

As a Principal Software Engineering position at Walmart Global Tech, you will be part of a global engineering team that caters to time and attendance needs for associates across the globe. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading multiple projects with small to medium-sized teams to support new functionalities and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop customized solutions in Workbrain, combined with the latest tech stack.
  • Mentor the team and review their deliverables to be in alignment with global best practices for Workbrain customizations.
  • Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
  • Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set priorities, and deliver awesome products.
  • Work closely with Distinguished Architects and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) standards.
  • Interact closely with Business owners and technical teams to collect requirements and validate solutions.
  • Measure and improve Project/program performance, Operational performance, and Portfolio performance using metrics/KPIs.
  • Recommend improvements and drive alignment across teams.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping architectural decisions, championing scalable and efficient solutions to meet present and future needs.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership and mentorship to teammates, other teams, and engineers.
