Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and supporting our team members.
Key Responsibilities- Answer phone calls in a friendly and timely manner, taking messages and providing accurate information to guests.
- Greet guests upon arrival and thank them as they depart, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Take, package, and tender To-Go orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Present accurate bills, collect payments, and secure cash handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate accounts of coupons, cash, promos, vouchers, and credits.
- Provide guests with detailed information about our restaurant, including menu items and promotions.
- Maintain the arrival area, ensuring it is clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Monitor the flow of the restaurant, including table turnover, guest arrival, and pace of service.
- Work with the service staff to reset tables efficiently and effectively.
- Clean up accidental spillage or breakage, and pre-set flatware.
- Clean and maintain menus, menu inserts, and other materials.
- Communicate guest needs to management and service staff as needed.
- Page and seat guests efficiently and comfortably.
- Assist with the sale of gift cards and monitor the cleanliness of the restrooms.
- Monitor and maintain the lobby area, including wiping down surfaces.
- Welcome and assist job applicants.
- Maintain all walkways inside and outside.
- Assist with locating guests for phone calls or messages.
- Thank guests for joining us as they leave and invite them to return.
