Job Description
We are seeking a Pharmacy Director for our small animal teaching hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, managing the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, and providing pharmaceutical support to the small animal hospital.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy
- Manage the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals
- Provide pharmaceutical support to the small animal hospital
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
- Current New Jersey Pharmacy Board licensure
- Previous experience with veterinary drugs and compounding highly desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 to $170,000, based on experience.
