Snowsports Instructor

Crystal Mountain is seeking a highly motivated and guest-service oriented Snowsports Instructor to join our team. As a Snowsports Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching children and adults of every ability level the fundamentals of alpine skiing and snowboarding while creating a safe and engaging lesson environment.

• Instruct a variety of levels of skiers & boarders while placing guest safety as the highest priority.
• Assist in forming groups by assessing student ability level and determining appropriate group assignment.
• Teach guests of all ages in group, private, or program lesson formats.
• Act as an information and guest service resource to customers and other departments as required.
• Attend training sessions and participate in training activities to contribute to ongoing professional development.

• Must have strong customer service skills to be able to effectively communicate with people of all ages.
• Able to take direction and work well in a team environment.
• Intermediate skiing or riding ability with a strong desire to learn and be trained.
• Any previous teaching, coaching or mentoring experience is a strong plus.
