We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at The University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial. As a key member of our Radiologic Services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain high standards of patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient experience
- Graduate of an accredited MRI program and registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Current licensure in the State of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
