As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will provide drug dispensing and distribution activities, compounding prescriptions, maintaining pharmacy robotics, inventory management, prescription billing, and training other personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support services under the supervision of an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist
  • Perform pharmacy calculations and accurately dispense medications
  • Manage inventory, process payments, and maintain pharmacy equipment
  • Train new hires and staff on pharmacy procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide quality patient care
Requirements
  • California Licensed Pharmacy Technician
  • At least 2 years of recent Outpatient Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Working knowledge of current third-party insurances, Medicare Part B, and California State Medicaid
  • Ability to operate Pharmacy Information System and other computer programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working at a UCDH Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy, or Specialty Pharmacy
  • Experience with non-sterile compounding tasks using equipment
  • Experience with Pharmacy EPIC Willow Ambulatory dispensing system
