Job Summary

Access Services is seeking part-time Recovery Coaches for our Community Residential Rehabilitation Group Home located in Allentown, PA. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to individuals with mental illness in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support program alumni in managing crisis situations and building social connections.
  • Maintain a cooperative and caring attitude towards others, prioritizing the needs of those around you.
  • Engage in regular supervision meetings with the Assistant Director to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Deliver high-quality care to individuals by identifying and addressing their unique needs.
  • Represent Access Services with integrity, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Nurture effective working relationships with state and local agencies to coordinate service delivery.
  • Report operational or staff concerns promptly, as outlined in Access Services' policies.
  • Foster open communication with the Assistant Director regarding individual progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Evolv, as requested by supervisors.
  • Participate in relevant meetings and activities to support individual well-being.
About the Role

This part-time position requires flexibility, particularly during weekends and evenings, with shifts typically taking place between 3-11PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Compensation and Benefits

The base hourly rate for this position starts at $17.50, with potential increases for specific shifts. Currently, differential rates apply to certain hours, including:

  • $1 extra per hour for the 11PM-7AM shift (Monday-Friday)
  • $1 extra per hour for the 3PM-11PM and 11PM-7AM shifts (Saturday-Sunday)

In addition to mileage reimbursement and paid travel, part-time benefits include an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Referral Bonuses, ongoing professional development training, discounts on services, college tuition discounts, and more.

If working 20 hours or more, part-time benefits expand to include Paid Time Off, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k match.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a Bachelor's degree in a related human services field preferred.
  • Certification: Not required; certification from a County CPS program is welcomed.
  • Experience: One year direct care experience with individuals with mental illness required.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle access, and adequate car insurance.
  • Two years of driving experience, no driver's license suspensions in the last 48 months.
