Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in Puyallup, WA. As a contract interpreter, you will work closely with our exceptional school district to provide high-quality support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sign language interpretation services to students in an elementary school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure seamless communication and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and school staff

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable experience as a School Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years
  • Valid School Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or in process in state of practice
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
