Maintenance Strategist

BASF Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Strategist to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs that optimize equipment effectiveness. This role requires strong analytical skills to analyze asset performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend cost-effective solutions.

With a deep understanding of process safety management and LEAN manufacturing principles, you will work closely with production teams to implement predictive maintenance strategies, root cause analysis, and criticality assessments. Experience with SAP, rotating equipment installation, and API engineering standards is highly desirable. Your technical expertise will drive business growth by ensuring plant equipment integrity and reliability.

Your Impact
- Develop and maintain comprehensive multi-year maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with production teams to design review, repair, and maintenance activities, including predictive and preventative maintenance
- Conduct risk-based inspections, root cause failure analysis, and criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance efforts
- Implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles to optimize maintenance processes
