Job Summary:
The University of California, Davis (UC Davis) is seeking a qualified temporary instructor to teach courses in entrepreneurship with a focus on new-venture strategies. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education in entrepreneurship, strong interest and background in new business design and strategy, and a record of effective and innovative teaching at the interface between entrepreneurship, engineering, and design.
Responsibilities:
- Teach or co-teach a course, including lecturing, holding office hours, grading and administering exams and coursework, managing and mentoring graders and teaching assistants, course preparation, holding discussion or lab sections, and additional duties as needed.
- Engage with the College's Student Startup Center and contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in entrepreneurship or a related field.
- Strong interest and background in new business design and strategy.
- Ability to teach core undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with technology and startups.
