Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Hi-Lo truck.
  • Utilize mathematical skills to ensure accuracy in blending.
  • Access a computerized system to identify specific blend combinations and calculate daily production totals.
  • Conduct product testing to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by managing ingredient requirements and monitoring temperature to minimize waste.
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs for inventory, quality assurance, order scheduling, and waste management.
  • Calculate and document inventory variances to ensure the correct blend of ingredients.
  • Follow established blending protocols to guarantee product consistency.
  • Comply with FDA, SQF (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Keep the work area clean and safe.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate a Hi-Lo truck, both standing and sitting.
  • Basic math and computer skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
  • Capability to navigate stairs.
  • Must lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided.

Work Environment:

This position involves working near moving mechanical parts, and the noise level may be elevated.

Compensation: The starting pay rate is $16.50 per hour, with an additional $1.00 shift premium for afternoon shifts.
