Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Developer with a passion for crafting high-performance web solutions. As a Lead Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and building robust, scalable web applications for our clients. You will leverage your expertise to develop efficient PHP modules within established MVC frameworks, create responsive and interactive React components, and ensure seamless integration with custom CMS systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Efficient PHP Modules: You will develop efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules within an established MVC framework and custom CMS system.
  • Build Performant React Components: You will create performant, responsive React components that provide interactivity for PHP modules.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: You will work with the team members and stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate progress, and coordinate deployments.
  • Follow Best Practices: You will follow the industry's best practices and write clean and well-structured code.
  • Write Technical Documentation: You will write and follow technical documentation, help estimate new initiatives.
  • Strictly Follow Internal Conventions: You will strictly follow internal conventions, code standards, and processes.
  • Resolve Website Performance Issues: You will resolve website performance issues.
  • Implement Web Application Security Considerations: You will implement web application security considerations and best practices.
  • Coordinate with Creative Teams: You will coordinate with creative teams to build front-end experiences that meet strict design requirements.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • 6+ Years of Experience: You should have at least 6 years of experience as a full-stack Lead Developer, Senior Software Engineer, or related roles.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: You should have excellent problem-solving and architectural experience.
  • Expert PHP Skills: You should have expert PHP skills, experience with Hack/HHVM/XHP is a plus.
  • Advanced Knowledge of React: You should have advanced knowledge of React, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Passion for Building Web Experiences: You should have a passion for building web experiences that meet high standards for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Experience Working in Large Organizations: You should have experience working within large organizations.
  • Excellent Attention to Detail: You should have excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and time management.
  • Good Understanding of GraphQL: You should have a good understanding of GraphQL, asynchronous PHP, MVC frameworks.
