Key Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Manager of the Program Management Office (PMO).
Acts as the facilitator for assigned projects, ensuring that project timelines and business objectives are met or exceeded.
Coordinates the project team in establishing project objectives, timelines, task assignments, change management strategies, and resource allocation both within and outside the project team.
Identifies potential risks and is responsible for escalating issues to the appropriate levels within the project team, management, and client organizations to mitigate risks to project timelines and deliverables.
Maintains comprehensive records including meeting notes, incoming and outgoing purchase orders, sample shipments, and project timelines.Organizes project initiation meetings, milestone reviews, and project closure meetings, including sessions for lessons learned.
Proactively identifies when problem-solving, lean methodologies, and process enhancements are required.
Ensures that new product development (NPD) projects are completed on schedule and monitors reasons for any delays in project timelines.
Ensures that NPD projects deliver the expected returns outlined in the business case and tracks any changes to the business case.
Assigns all necessary tasks and responsibilities to team members.Identifies and resolves issues and risks before project objectives are compromised.
Keeps documentation updated to provide a complete project history.
Encourages the adoption of best practices in project management, problem-solving, and Lean methodologies within project teams.
Your Objectives:
Familiarize yourself with the PPS and NPDP processes.
Achieve proficiency in Beckett's implementation of Workfront for project management.
Facilitate weekly updates with your manager, co-PMO peer, and Director for ongoing guidance.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
A PMP certification plus 1 year of project management experience or 3+ years of project management experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills and follow-up methods.
Proficient in standard office software (email, document processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
