Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator/WD to join our team at TransForce Inc. in Nashville, TN. As a Machine Operator/WD, you will be responsible for operating basic productivity equipment, moving materials and/or parts between workstations, and assisting other operators by loading or unloading jigs, fixtures, and/or tooling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate basic productivity equipment to meet production standards
  • Move materials and/or parts between workstations to ensure efficient production
  • Assist other operators by loading or unloading jigs, fixtures, and/or tooling
  • Assemble and/or pack products to meet quality and quantity standards
  • Load and unload machines, conveyors, pallets, or automatic lines to maintain production flow
  • Conduct simple quality inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Keep work areas clean and orderly to maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals
Requirements:
  • No prior experience or training required
  • Ability to understand written or printed matter and communicate with coworkers and supervisors
  • Math skills to add, subtract, multiply, or divide and determine quantities
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level is usually loud, and the employee may be subject to extreme temperatures.

This is a TEMP to HIRE position, with a 90-day duration. Once hired on, you will be eligible for a $1,000 "Hire On Bonus" at one-year service and a Quarterly Safety Bonus, with a range of $1,000 - $1,600 per quarter.
