Plumber - Advanced Level

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at the State of Michigan. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for participating in and overseeing plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance projects on state properties.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance projects on state properties
- Function as a crew leader, overseeing the work of lower-level Plumbers, prisoners, and others
- Perform journey-level plumbing assignments
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
- Possession of a journey plumber's license issued by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth
- Five years of experience in the plumbing trade, including one year equivalent to a Plumber E9 in State service
- Completion of a vocational training program in plumbing that includes commercial or industrial level instruction may be substituted for two years of experience assisting skilled trades people
