Job Title: Teppan Chef

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Teppan Chef to join our team at Benihana National Corp. As a Teppan Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking Japanese-inspired dishes on a teppanyaki grill in front of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Japanese-inspired dishes on a teppanyaki grill
  • Entertain and interact with guests while cooking
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure excellent guest service
  • Meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in cooking
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times
  • Ability to entertain and perform in front of guests
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
