In this role, you will work closely with our team of experts to design and deliver high-voltage transmission systems that meet the needs of our clients. With a focus on HVDC technology, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our company's global and North American business strategies.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting and leading ongoing HVDC-related projects, including conceptual studies, pre-FEED level design, and FEED-level design. You will also assist clients in selecting HVDC/HVAC technology and provide technical specifications for converter stations. Additionally, you will work closely with OEMs to fulfill OE tasks and witness FAT/SAT testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
As an Electrical Engineer - HVDC, you will need to demonstrate related experience and technical knowledge in the field of electrical high-voltage engineering, with emphasis on HVDC. Prior knowledge of electrical design/studies, functional/technical specifications, and/or FAT/SAT commissioning related to HVDC systems is preferred. Knowledge of the offshore wind market will also be seen favorably.
