About the Role:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware in the Loop Department in Tucson, Arizona. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and integrating state-of-the-art test environments as part of our multi-disciplined team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with weapon system designers to understand requirements and design solutions
  • Develop and integrate missile flight simulation systems
  • Design and develop test interfaces, including adapters and cabling
  • Identify and resolve technical issues through debugging, troubleshooting, and data analysis
  • Travel up to 20% may be required to support development and/or delivery of our test environment equipment

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)
  • 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship experience in an engineering role supporting electrical design
  • Experience with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado, or equivalent
  • Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics
