Barista

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Black Rock Coffee Bar. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, crafting high-quality beverages, and fostering positive coworker relationships.

• Provide warm and welcoming service to customers, ensuring a positive and engaging environment.
• Prepare and serve coffee and coffee-less beverages and food items using retail equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work and customer areas, following health and safety guidelines.
• Promote new coffee offerings and seasonal specials to enhance brand awareness and sales.
• Handle accurate cash and credit transactions, including daily cash deposits when required.
• Support training initiatives and mentor new team members during their onboarding process.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks assigned by the leadership team.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Assist in inventory management and restock supplies as needed, including product displays.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer and team interactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Capable of building positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Self-motivated and capable of independent work during down times.
