Job Overview

At American Tire Depot, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing front-end mechanical repairs, including alignments, brakes, steering/suspension, fluid exchanges, and repairing and replacing components such as water pumps, alternators, belts, hoses, and radiators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine problems and transmission issues.
  • Work with a team to ensure that all repairs are completed to a high standard and that customers are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide them with clear and concise information about the repairs required.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the automotive repair industry.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of professional mechanical experience working in automotive repair.
  • Energetic, ethical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to examine and identify necessary repairs and maintenance needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members to ensure mechanical issues have been addressed and recommendations are made.
  • Physically able to lift 70 lbs. and endure continuous crouching, bending, and turning.
  • Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
