IT Director

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Director to lead our Management Information System (MIS) operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the selection, acquisition, and maintenance of hardware and software necessary to support our MIS.

• Oracle database support and management
• Windows and Unix/Linux servers support and maintenance
• Infrastructure planning and design
• Capacity planning and analysis
• Client interface and storage administration
• Security incident prevention and response
• Installation of hardware and software
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics

• Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information system or related field)
• Four years of full-time work experience in information technology, MIS management, database applications, or other system management, preferably in a college environment
• Experience supporting remote sites is a plus
• Experience with Unix/Linux, all versions of Windows OS Servers, Oracle database and Weblogic servers, SQLServer, MySQL, SQL/Plus, electronic document management systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Domain Name Service, the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs, Apache web server, Tomcat servlet engine
