Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers have access to a wide variety of fresh and high-quality produce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service: Assist customers in locating products, answer questions, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment: Restock shelves, rotate products, and ensure that the produce department is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
  • Unload and stock produce deliveries: Receive and process daily shipments of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables.
  • Trim, package, and rotate product: Ensure that all produce is properly trimmed, packaged, and rotated to maintain quality and appearance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds: Must be able to lift and move heavy boxes and crates of produce.
