We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Cherry Tree Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the daily operations of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Maintenance of Dental Equipment: Prepare, sterilize, disinfect, and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Patient Care and Communication: Collect and record patient health histories, take impressions and x-rays, and ensure patient comfort during dental procedures.
- Assistance with Dental Procedures: Assist the dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies, and complete charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes.
- Front Office Support: Provide assistance with front office duties as needed, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Dental Assistant Program or dental assistant experience preferred.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Foster a positive attitude and be a team player, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, with occasional Fridays 8:00am - 12:00pm as needed.
